Orble Server Downtime

The server was down last night from around 1am until I arrived at the office this morning and got it working again by 9.30 am AEST.

It looks like a technician at our hosting company decided to turn the server off after a momentary spike in traffic and forgot to turn it back on. Needless to say someone will be getting a talking to.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused anyone.

Also keep in mind that traffic stats will probably be a little down this morning as a result.

Sorry about that Adrienne. We have completed the server upgrade now -- hopefully we've seen that last of any problems for a whlie. At least my stress levels can come down a bit

Hi Jon,

Guess I read this news a little too late... but the stats are still a little slow to arrive, especially this week. It's like I have 4 blogs but the first 3 arrives together and then the domain blog stats came later...

Anything to do with the server lagging that you are mentioning?

Jessica - when the server sends off lots of email at once (ie all the traffic reports) some of them get delayed out there in the web. There is not much we can do about this I'm afraid.
