I just noticed in the stats that the top 76 blogs had more than 100 individual readers yesterday which is somewhat of a record and I think quite an achievment! We are now getting over 18,000 readers everyday -- and that is not double counting people who read more than 1 blog (that is over 30,000). Not too far to go until we reach the 20,000 mark at which point there will be a big Orble party somewhere in Sydney  Hip Hurrah! Jon.

You can now submit background images for your blog. A hideous example can be found here. A more refined example can be found here, and indeed this very blog is now painted onto a brick wall graffiti-style.
To submit a background image you need to click on Themes and then Advanced Settings. Remember that if you want the image to tile you will need to change the settings underneath the image to left, top, and repeat. Typing background textures or background images into google results in an avalanche of sites with images you can download and use. A couple I found very quickly are http://www.walnet.org/help/backgrounds.html and http://www.grsites.com/textures/. When it comes to bg images remember that subtle is usually better Jon.
Writer Traffic StatsJanuary 19th 2007 02:19
Those writers who contribute to more than one blog (or who do not actually moderate a blog but still publish quite a few posts) will now be receiving a writer's stats email.
This will allow writers to see how much traffic their posts are getting even if they do not moderate the blog which they are published on. If everything goes to plan the first of these emails will be sent out tomorrow. If you have any suggestions for additional features let me know. Thanks, Jon.
