Well you may not care what I said but that doesnt change the fact that what I said is 100% true and anyone who has any background whatsoever in Photography or the arts in gneneral will tell you so. I openly admitted that my comment was harsh but then again so is the design of this site so I think it was fitting. Again Teal and Hot Pink. I still have a hard time believing that someone is that deficient in regards to colors and color theory. Its absolutely horrid and anyone who tells you diffferently either has absolutely zero taste or is lying just to protect your feelings.
You can ignore me and claim that what I said doesnt phase you at all. I could really care less. I said what needed to be said and what you end up doing with that advice is 100% up to you. You can keep things unchanged and thus continue to be the single ugliest and thus least respected photo site that I know of or you can actually do something about it and thus show some respect to both photography in general and the photo's you choose to present on this website.
Again I said what needs to be said. What you do from here on out is up to you. Who knows maybe you enjoy having the ugliest photography website on the net. If that is the case then have at it and enjoy.
I just had to comment about this site. I love photography and it just shoots a stake through my heart to see a photography website done in such horrid colors. Hot Pink and Teal??? What in gods name are you thinking. I dont think its even possible to pick 2 more obtrusive colors as a backdrop with which to present photographs. In all honesty its painful just sticking around long enough for me to make this post. Thankfully there are so many photo sites that I dont have to ever come back to this one. No offence but you need to do some serious reading on color theory especially in regards to shooting and displaying photographs. Imagine if photographers started using Hot Pink and Teal Matt Board, lol.
Its taken a long time for photography to be considered a legitimate art form along side painting, drawing Etc.. Sites like this only damage that credability. Show some respect to both the medium and the pictures that you show on this site and get rid of these absolutely horrid colors. We are not in the 80's and this is not an episode of Miami Vice. This is a photography website. Again show some respect and learn how to present the pictures you choose to represent on this site.
Horrid, absolutely horrid. I apologize for the harshness of this comment but I have never seen anything like this and I have been a professional photographer for over 14 years.
