Open Blogs
January 9th 2007 05:17
Happy New Years everyone! I hope you all had a good holiday
I've updated the Orble Blog List to show which blogs are open to other writers.
I've also updated the open blogs page to explain why I think open blogs are such a good idea from the perspective of the blog moderator.
Also a quick reminder about the post I wrote on the best way to earn money on Orble.
If you want to make money writing I would suggest car reviews for ZCars, beauty product reviews for Health and Beauty, fashion articles for Style Space, articles about buying and selling stuff on Zclassifieds, job hunting articles on ZJobs or upcoming sydney events on Sydney Diarystar.
All of these blogs generate a very good CPM (revenue per thousand impressions) get lots of search engine traffic and and are open to other writers.
While I think of it if anyone wants to start melbourne.diarystar.com.au or mycity.diarystar.com.au let me know. We also have diarystar.com and diarystar.co.uk if you live in the states or the UK. These sites are easy to run (don't take long to update) and generate good search engine traffic and revenue (well at least the Sydney one does).
Of course this style of writing is not for everyone -- if you are on Orble just for the fun of writing then that's great too -- you make this place the interesting place it is.
Also I've just noticed that we have writing.net.au sitting idle. I think this would be a great forum for discussing all things writing, for people to post short stories etc. PM if you would like to take it on.
Thanks,
Jon.
