Only in L.A.: Sabrina and an extravagant MJ-themed birthday party!
August 29th 2009 17:38
Extravagance in LA! The eccentric Sabrina A. Parisi was one of the friends invited at the singer Norwood Young’s birthday party.
Sabrina looked very pretty with a huge purple bow embroiled with Swarovski stones, but strangely for this occasion the “well known eccentric young entrepreneur” did not look so extravagant as usual. In fact her style was quite sober and surprised the press. Yes, cute and charming but not exactly what people would have expected from the “queen of extravagance” as she is! “This is a party to remember and Norwood is an eccentric!” Sabrina stated. Crowned the "King of Hancock Park" by the alt-crowd because of his utterly mad digs--specifically the 17 statues of Michelangelo's David that line the driveway of his whitewashed house--the source of fascination, celebration, derision and litigation (by neighbors) known as Norwood Young was feting his birthday on August 28 with an all-out tribute to the "King of Pop," his fellow Virgo, Michael Jackson.
Attended experienced a 14-piece mini-orchestra, a 7-foot replica of Jackson's jeweled glove, a Jackson impersonator and two reproductions of both "kings" — Jackson, the king of pop, and Norwood, king of Hancock Park (as crowned by L.A. City Beat in 2008 — thank you, L.A. City Beat!). Oh, and each of those 20 Davids wore a classic "Thriller" jacket.
A party to remember!
