Buckle bags seem to walk out of my shop, so I thought I'd show you my two latest ones before they too are wrapped and sent off to a shop that has ordered them.
This style has such a feminine feel, I think it is all the pleating, flowers and giant buckle that creates that mood.
Whenever I make these, I always want to keep them and have to comfort myself by saying the next one I do will be for me - but guess what, I still don't have my own BB - boo hoo.
The same shop has also ordered three of these - so it doesn't look like I'll be getting my own BB any time soon.
Isn't there a saying that goes something like, 'the shoemakers children are never shod' or something like that?
