Stan Van Gundy's Poor Decision Cost Them the Game

: 2009 NBA Finals
Van Gundy, being too stubborn to play Nelson and sit Alston out, cost them Game 4. Yes, Jameer Nelson is an All-star, but he has not played for four months. Has this coach understood the term "DECONDITIONED"?

They are playing at the Finals stage, not at any regular season or play-offs stage. We saw Rafer Alston having the hot hands in the first half, but what did Stan Van Gundy decided in exchange? He decided to play Nelson at the majority of the second half. Yes, Nelson has dished out couple of assists, but he doesn't have the foot yet, to match the speed of the Lakers guards.

Lee Frustrates Orlando Fans

: 2009 NBA Finals
Courtney Lee, a frequently-used rookie, catches the ball from Hedo...has an open attempt...has the chance to shoot the ball off the alley-oop...never been known as a clutch performer...this is his chance... misses the shot...LA gets the opportunity to win in OT. He will have another try...

Indeed LA was like given another life. They grabbed the chance, Kobe and Pau steps on the gas...making it 2-0. Hey, don't count Lamar Odom out. In two straight games he proved to be a force in the NBA Finals, 19 points, 8 rebounds, and three blocked shots. I remember mentioning him as the x-factor in the Finals.

Was it a Bad Shooting Night for the Magics; Or was it Kobe too Hard to Stop?

: 2009 NBA Finals
Ok, I know. My prediction about the Magics winning was wrong! I never knew how strong Kobe and LA would turn out to be in game 1. I thought Orlando will be ready for this game, until Kobe fired from all cylinders...The Magics were caught unprepared for Kobe's attack.

But could this be first finals game jitters for Orlando? Well, their fans hope so. But the Lakers fans think the other way around. After seeing that inspiring pre-game presentation-"OUR TIME IS NOW". It seems no one can stop them at the Staples Center. And so I expect LA to win in game 2

Now it's down to the Lakers and the Magics

: 2009 NBA Finals
The NBA Finals starts on June 4, with the Los Angeles Lakers having homecourt advantage. Games 1 and 2 will be played at the Lakers' homecourt, and we expect a lot of excitement...

For the Magics, this will be their first trip to the finals since the Shaq era. It's been a long time, and their crowd has been longing for this moment.

What's next for the Cleveland Cavaliers?

: 2009 NBA Playoffs
We saw how the Orlando Magics spoiled Cleveland's dream season, and grabbing the other spot in the NBA finals. It's been decided. It's the Orlando Magics vs. the LA Lakers.

You can never blame Lebron James walking out fron the Am-way Arena, never appeared in their presscon, and immediately going to their team's charter. I guess this just goes to show how frustrated he is in their performance.

Picture-Perfect Finish for the Los Angeles Lakers

: 2009 NBA Playoffs
What a prediction? I know how great Denver team is, but no offense. It is not yet their time.

Today it's Kobe's time...it's LA's time...and the fans are loving it.

The pressure is on the Orlando Magics to close out the series at home

: 2009 NBA Playoffs
Lebron James's Cleveland Cavaliers live another day, as they grab a win at home against the Magics 112-102. The series is now 3-2, still in favor of the Orlando Magics. BUT I DO THINK THAT THE PRESSURE IS ON ORLANDO TO CLOSE THIS OUT AT HOME. They better not succumb to this so as not to affect their gameplan.

But as many know, The Cavs are no push over. Now that Mo Williams starts to heat things up, and Lebron James going out everynight on a mission

The Magics for sure will win the series

: 2009 NBA Playoffs
After seeing game 4 of the NBA Eastern Conference Finals, I am now 100% sure that the Orlando Magics will win the series. I had enough of seeing Lebron's teammates performing poorly in defense. The Cavs have not reacted against the Magics' perimeter shooting. They leave Alston wide open to make those 3-point shots.

i've been saying it again and again, if the outside shots keep on pouring for Orlando, the Cavs are in trouble. Plus Superman Dwight is a workhorse inside. That's what I'm talking about. Continue executing good plays and excellent defense (putting bodies against the Cavs), and the Magics will close this out in 6 games, earlier that what I predicted before.

Tough Night For Lakers; NBA should reprimand Jones

: 2009 NBA Playoffs
Game 4 was a game of flying and aching bodies, a night of trash talking, technical fouls, and
complaiints regarding officiating.
