Camcorder are not something you go out and buy everyday, they are a significant purchase, so you will want to make sure that you get it right, and buy the camera that is perfect for you. Some people find camcorders daunting, but you don’t need to be as great as some of film makers to pick it up. If you want to buy a piece of this gadget, then, you better consider some helpful tips in buying camcorders.

Camera Experts say:

1. Video camera should be lightweight; you might be holding it for a long time, so it needs to be comfortable. Ideally it should fit in the palm of your hand. Light weight camera is best use for some events like days or nights out with friends and might have to carry it in a bag for long hours.
2. It should be easy to use. There is no point of buying a fancy, complicated camera unless you know basic of using it. If this is your first one, go for one with easy features, those that have auto mode built in.
3. Check the recording format. There are several different ways in which cameras record your footage. The best way to know it is to ask someone, a friend or an experience videographer or the outlet salesman. Ask them to explain it to you on a layman’s term about the recording format of your desired camcorder.
4. Consider the zooming ability. The bigger and wider the zoom the more you will be able to get close to the action.
5. Audio ability is obviously a consideration unique to a camcorder, and built-in microphones have improved greatly in recent years, an extra stand alone mic is still useful in a lot of shooting situations.
6. Even with all this technology a camcorder still relies on batteries. Again these have improved greatly lately, but make sure your camera tells you exactly how much recording time you have left. I’m sure you don’t want to be left with half a wedding or that important event.
7. Last but not least, Budget. There’s no escaping camcorder cost money, and you do get what you pay for but there’s a huge range out there, with something for everyone’s pocket.

See ya! Hope this will help…till next post.
