Front Door - October 2008

I find it very satisfying to have a jar full of homemade cookies on the bench. There hasn't been one for some time so I gave Jane's recipe a go. Not only is the jar full, but the kitchen smells delicious.

And do you know how these taste best? With a sleeping house, a cup of Twinings Simply Tea, bed and your current read.

(The plate that cookie is perched on is just a single that I have, J G Meakin Water Lilies. I would love to find more pieces of this set but it seems to be elusive. I'll just treasure this one for now - it is so art deco, don't you think?)
