NZ Warriors the NRL quiet achievers

The NZ Warriors have been the super quiet achiever in this years NRL Rugby League Premiership. The Kiwi side has been heavily knocked around by injury, captain and boom forward Steve Price out for an extended period and also fullback Wade McKinnon sidelined for the year.
Custodian Wade McKinnon was a huge success for the Warriors last year after coming across from the Parramatta Eels. McKinnon naturally a big loss, but somehow the Warriors have pulled together and remained a constant force in the competition.
While they still need some fine tuning to adjust their away game winning percentages, they remain a solid team at home and making it uncomfortable for any team travelling to Mt Smart Stadium.
What has been most impressive for the NZ Warriors apart from their NRL Results, is the fact they have such a good halves combination. Michael Witt has seemingly found a home at the Warriors and combining well with Grant Rovelli - both players seemingly liking the coaching of Ivan Cleary who has done a great job to pull together a top level side without the stars at their disposal for now.
