NRL: Bulldogs blow it Badly against Penrith Panthers
www.nrlnews.com
The Bulldogs have slumped to a new low, after a heavy loss to the Penrith Panthers overnight in NRL Round 9.
In their previous two meetings the Panthers have racked up 70 points on the Bulldogs and the amazing trend is set to continue as the Panthers won by 30 points to 4 at ANZ Stadium. The Bulldogs simply had no answer to the scoring blitz, and while both sides committed a lot of Rugby League errors - the NRL Results at the end of the day see the Panthers now snapping at the heels of the Top 8 and looking like a rough chance to make the finals at seasons end.
The Bulldogs meanwhile are in the middle of a mini-crisis and probably can't wait to get their new coach Kevin Moore into position to pass on fresh ideas, fresh confidence and a new blood into the stale side.
The Bulldogs while already on 8 points have been far too inconsistent to worry other teams and time is fast running out for them to correct the poor form in this years NRL Telstra Premiership.
In particular the Bulldogs lack speed on the wings, with veteran Hazem El Masri still the first choice winger and running on old legs at low speed.
