Lifes little slices - by charliesgirl_992000

North Carolina stuff

August 26th 2007 22:15
When in North Carolina recently i sat on the beach watching the teens boogie board. I'd watch, laugh, feel the wonderful breeze blow my hair wildly and take in that wonderful scent. While sitting there, a bird came up and snatched a fish right out of a wave. I started snapping pictures and here's what i got.

Tammy,

great pictures! So peaceful by the beach sometimes...

I hope whatever great decision you had to make recently was not as painful as it sounded in your writing...

Sometimes we all have to struggle with ourselves over decisions we have to make that are unpleaseant...

Hope yours works out well and that you're finally happy...

Peace and white light,

Nick

Hi Tammy

What beautiful pics and how lovely to sit there and then capture them so well by camera.

I know this is a hard time for you, I admire your tenacity and courage,

Best wishes,

Tracy

Love it, love it, love it, and that seagull is so cool and so much in control.

You probably don't realize it but those pictures are so well balanced, the colours so muted but so engaging and the swirling crests of the waves so inviting and refreshing.

You've made my day. So very beautiful.

Nick, Thanks for your kind words!! They mean sooo much.
This decision has cost me my daughter. She moves back to Illinois this saterday. It sucks big time, but she was making life hard for everyone else here. She lived next door in a trailer that sits on our land, but she was ALWAYS at our home. She's 19 and it's time for her [and the other two 18] to start taking some responsabily with their cell phone bills, animal care and feed and stop taking advantage of dad and I. The other two where just fine with it, but not her. It caused an attitude for days and then finally a blow up. Last month her phone bill was $300 dolars over because she let all her friends use it. the month before, it was almost a hundred over. She still hasn't paid any of it, and when we talk about it she complains of how broke she will be because of it. "Well, now you know how dad and i feel paying for your bills." and "then you shouldn't let your friends run up your bill!" She doesn'tlike those answers.
"whats done is done. I'm better. To have one child making it hard on everyone else. just can't be.

Tracy, "I sooo LOVED sitting there. I do grow tired of the sand and wouldn't be able to stand to be close to the ocean for long, but it's been awhile and as of september 16th i'll be back at the ocean for two whole weeks. A break in betweent though. <grins>
It sure is a great place to loose yourself.
hugs, Tammy

Tracy, LOVELY it will indeed be and i am sooo ready, especialy with my daughters Bullcrap today. UHG!!! i guess being mad is better for me then crying. <frowns> She has just made it easier for me to let her go. Only thing, "She invited her dad and step mom for this labor day weekedn, come hang out and then take her with her stuff. Her yard is pretty much my yard. I planned on a HUGE bonfire, camp out. Now i will have to either leave town and risk her taking all kaities stuff, or hide in the house, hearing all their fun.
It's one of those days!!!
