what do YOU think about.....the job market as of 3/1/2009?

Is that a broad and vague question? We each have our own answer.
I'm scared to death of what I read and hear about the current job market.
Me? I'm still employed with a company I've been with for over 10 years. You can bet I'm counting my blessing and holding my breath! This is a teeny tiny software company with currently 4 employees. 1 admin person, 1 programmer/boss/owner, 1 senior software support tech (that's me) and a 1 new-hire software support tech/programming trainee. I loke my job and I believe I'm good at it.
When I started working there I was employee #6. I saw the company grow as high as 10 employees once upon a time.
I'm not quite too naive to think it couldn't end tomorrow. So what I read and hear about the current job market scares me! If I had to, could I find a new job in 3 months? 6 months? I know that answer is different for every one of us, and that is the biggest unknown! We don't know until we get there. These are scary times. Do you know what YOU would do?
