I did something stupid on wednesday. It seemed like a good idea at the time though.
I really wanted a lip ring. I wanted one for a little while now. I was scheduled to get one about 4 weeks ago, but then I met this girl, who wasn't so keen on the idea.
But now that I have freed the shackles of oppression, I can do what I like, when I like.
Although there really isn't much difference...
But anyway, two days after I got dumped (ouch) in what can be likened to a teenage act of rebellion, I decided I would get my piercing after tafe.
4pm came, I raced down to the fine establishment that for a small fee would put a hole in my skin, well 3 attempts later and nearly fainting, I was quite proud of my new ring.
Time goes on, well not all that much time, probably 43 hours later, this may be one of the most stupid things I have done.
It all changed when a co-worker said this, "your lip looks infected, I'd be getting that looked at."
Then after everyone agreeing and informing me how much bacteria is in my mouth I am very very paranoid.
I work on a building site, with lots of dust, and as soon as I get home I am drowning myself in listerine.
I have no idea what comes next... Good or bad... anyone?
