sex and the city review

March 14th 2010 06:16
I am sick of this whole franchise. "it empowers women", this is the same arguement used to justify women in porn and if anyone has seen a porn movie you will know that those women are anything but empowered.

I personally dont understand how the series took off let alone a bunch of poorly written movies. the problem with the movie is that with any a good movie you need many things to occur to make the movie good. the two fundamentals precepts of any good movie is a script and actors. the problem with the sex and the city movie is that they have neither.

NOW lets look at the theme........a bunch of overgrown women who never stopped analysing their relationships since they were 14 years old. I am no genious but your meant to grow out of that when you become an adult, your definitely supposed to grow out of it when your in your 40's.

Stop making these movies so that stupid people stop feeling justified in their actions and realise that they are morons. by making these types of films you make people think it is ok to be like this.

Women of the world aspire to higher role models because your worth more than this.

Film review. Inglorious Basterds

March 14th 2010 03:00
what the hell is going on????
you know at the turn of the last century hollywood was producing some decent movies alongside the crap. there was fight club, the matrix and american history x, but then things dropped off into oblivion.

I watched the recent tarentino flick the other day and it is good to see another director who has looked into the toilet bowel and liked what he has seen. this is the guy that brought us "from dusk till dawn" and "pulp fiction".

when i was a teenager i woud watch these flicks hoping to find tha deeper meaning quentin was trying to convey, one night in 1996 i actually watched the movie four times in a row. but Inglorious Basterds was the Inglorious Basterdisation of tarentino.
Many painters over the centuries has allowed students to work on their pieces in an effort to reduce time, some modern artists only really sign off on the art as theirs while a team of workers dedicate themselves to the piece. Iglorious Basterds seemed to have the same touch to it. While it said directed by tarentino, it left a feeling with the viewer that it just wasnt tarentino.
