Niagara Falls - Canada

I don’t think I’ve seen anything quite like it (again, I don’t go out much). It’s covered in layers of fog so it looks like a rounded railing that barricades off nothing but air. It’s hard to tell if it’s the spray or the mist or a little bit of both.
The rain is falling heavily and it’s cold enough to freeze my fingers to the camera. I know it’ll be worth it though; if only the rain would stop and the fog/mist rise.
A short drive around the falls to the end of the multiple car parks is a lookout point. The USA is just a short distance away. It’s here that I see something special. The water is running, but blocks of ice have formed across the surface.
I take a walk down the footpath and am greeted by an awe-inspiring sight. The mist has lifted enough to reveal the frozen falls. Cascading water has frozen in its path and formed a wall of ice and snow. It’s not cold enough to freeze the entire falls, so there’s a beautiful symphony of water, ice, snow and mist.
