After this weekends games, the AFC playoff teams are set. They are Houston, Denver, New England, Baltimore, Indianapolis, and Cincinatti. The top 3 are still to decide who will get the first round byes. New England needs win against the Dolphins and either Texans or Broncos to lose. Houston and Denver just need to win and they will have first round bye. If Houston wins, they will also have home field throughout their playoff run. I think Houston and Denver both win and secure the byes. Your thoughts?
The NFC playoff picture is still unclear for last few spots. Atlanta, Green Bay, San Francisco, and Seattle are in. Minnesota, Washington, and Dallas control their own destiny and are in if they win. At the top, one first round bye is still up for grabs. Atlanta has secured one of the first round byes, and have home field throughout their playoff run. The 2nd first round bye is Green Bay's if they win, but they will have a tough matchup going on the road against Minnesota who is playing very good right now and needing a win to secure the 6 seed. Also in the mix are Giants and Bears who need to win and get some help. I think Minnesota beats Green Bay, San Francisco beats Arizona, and Washington beats Dallas. So NFC would then look like Atlanta, San Fran, Green Bay, Washington, Seattle, Minnesota. Do you agree? Do you think either Cowboys, Bears, or Giants can make it in?
