In the past, people probably didn't even know they were looking at the world through eyes, they just thought it was the world.It is just in the world its just there yiy jbiwm ryr;s xloaesm tigyggttoubf rgw ybuvweaw I got disoriented trying to touch type there and now i don't know what I was saying, it's a challenge to anyone who can decode it, I guess it's solvable.
Anyway, my point is that they didn't realise they were looking at the world through eyes, and when they got old, they didn't realise that their sight was getting worse, they probably thought the world was getting fuzzier. They perhaps thought that while they were old and useless in this rapidly changing world. They would believe that It was not that youth had clearer eyes, but that they were simply more able to navigate in a fuzzy world
