News of the day

Today was a little more disturbing than most, with the early news of the day starting out with 5 soldiers killed by a fellow soldier. My heart goes out to all the families of those soldiers as well as all our fallen heroes. I don't know what the final story will bare out but on the surface it appears to be a good soldier pushed over the edge.
In war soldiers are placed in positions where monumental choices have to be made. Most of us in the course of life, will never come close to making choices like these. Even just the essence of basic military duty places a huge emotional stress on an individual. Things like being away from family and friends for extended periods. Relationships become nothing more than emails, letters and a phone call. An untold number of soldiers see a relationship end while overseas. That stress along with combat situations is more than most can endure.
My hat goes off to all of our brave heroes in the military.
Can't muster up much else to talk about after that.....tomorrow is another day.
