New music and other things that are good

I guess its safe to say (brb, wine glass empty) that I have no idea how to write a blog, but its also safe to say that George W Bush is a fine upstanding gent and well-liked in the community so forget about what's safe for now.
I have no idea what will become of this little experiment, but I beg you to stick with it and see what comes of it. My personality offline is erratic, introverted, eccentric and egotistically esoteric (seriously, that wasn't just an excuse to show off my alliteration skills), so lets see what becomes of me online. If you bother to read my little things and stuff, you will soon find my gratitude creeping through your window late at night, bringing you hot chocolate and other things that are nice. Don't worry, while this first post might be completely self-indulgent and first-person, this isn't one of those "today I met a new friend and we discussed the orbit of Jupiter before having a lovely cup of tea under the shade of a Willow tree" kind of blogs.
