It is now possible to upload background images for various elements within your blog such as the menus and main text section. You can also choose "transparent" as a colour.
This makes all kinds of cool stuff possible including fading which is very Web 2.0. An example can be found at Fashion.org.au.
I've also created a few more Themes which use the new background images. They all start with "alpha" (mainly to put them at the top of the menu
). "Alpha Grey" is the format which Fashion.org.au is using. Most of them are quite dark which can be blamed on the weather here in Sydney. I'll add a few more over the next couple of weeks. If anyone has any requests for a specific colour scheme let me know.
One technical point: you cannot use background images and rounded corners on the same element.
