Attend a Tea Party in North Carolina

April 13th 2009 22:15
The new Tea Party is a spin off of the famous Boston Tea Party and is also against high taxation. But it isn’t going to spawn armed rebellion it isn’t that type of gathering. It is just like minded people who do not like the way government is handling the problems and the over taxing of the American public. This article is about North Carolina Tea Parties. I would be attending the North Carolina Tea Party in Newton but I will be at work during the Noon hour when it starts.

Here is a great website for North Carolina Tea Parties that are going on during Tax Day on April 15th. Taxdayteaparty.com offers lists of April 15th tea parties for each state. The North Carolina link has a slew of NC tea parties planned for April 15th 2009 with some sort of contact information for each one. All of these are confirmed by the website. Some tea parties have already taken place but the majority of the ones I know about will occur on tax day in 2009.

Thanks for reading this article about North Carolina tea parties on this blog. Please check out some of my North Carolina related articles on the left side of this website. Unlike this blog I get paid when people read those. The North Carolina articles can be found where it says “Top Menu Section”

North Carolina Renaissance Festival

October 6th 2008 13:00
The Carolina Renaissance Festival is back in Huntersville North Carolina. I love this event and have went for the last three or four years. You can read an article about a previous Carolina Renaissance Festival and check their site to get more information.

I love the jousting and never thought I would see any in North Carolina but you can. The food, games and costumes are great as well.

Fair Season

August 10th 2008 00:29
County fairs are starting to make their rounds in North Carolina. I know both Catawba and Iredell Counties are having theirs this month. Take the kids out and have a blast.

Nothing beats cotton candy, or candy apples and a stroll among the rides and games. I find it a good place to run into some of my North Carolina neighbors and catch up on old times

Ghost Town is open again

July 28th 2008 20:04
Ghost Town in the sky has reopened recently in Western North Carolina. For years it was a Western Related Theme Park in the area and closed down. But now it is back and I will be going soon myself.

It is one of those things I always intended to go do but never got around to it. My grandfather helped hook the power up to the original Ghost Town. He was a well know fly fisherman at the time and often went fishing with some of the Western Stars who worked at the park

So i started a blog about North Carolina. If you want some publicity about an event or a historical place in North Carolina then let me know. Maybe I will post about it here.
