NBA Playoffs - Suns Wake Up
To play a word pun, the Sun finally rose from its slumber. Phoenix keeps alive what seemed like an unlikely finals berth a few days ago, and you can bet they'll all be buying drinks for Stoudemire who burst out of his own goggles. What form slump?
See, now this is what Orlando needs to watch very, very closely. Or, more specifically, this is was Dwight needs to watch very, very closely. If you want to win, you need to play it hard. Get in the paint, make your voice be heard (but no whining about fouls, for God's sake) and play with spirit. Phoenix can tie the series and force the Lakers to six games minimum, seven if they hold home court. Again, that seemed like a hard ask considering the tall timber the Lakers have been able to take advantage of.
On a side note, Kobe's near triple double again proved his worth (if it needed any further proof), and there's talk that Bynum may sit out game four. He's struggled through the playoffs, that's for sure, but they've benefited without him on the court so far, that's the advantage of having Gasol and an in form Odom in the squad. To think, they may bag another tall in Bosh come the trade deadline.
As much as it hurts to say it, the Celtics will win game four. Embarrassing is the best word to explain Orlando's performance, after all the hype. Eight straight wins, on a high, and crushed into oblivion by a team that proves you don't need youthful endeavour, you just need a little D. How much more can you bring to a team? Maybe a tall who can really dominate, or a shooting guard who can take over a game when it's needed. Carter and Howard CAN do that, but it's almost as if they've lost confidence, and that's the last thing you want from your two leading players.
