NBA Playoffs - Another Round of Sweeps?
As unlikely as it seems, Boston and LA are not only on the verge of renewing a rivalry bigger than the Yankees and Red Sox, Manchester United and Liverpool AND Star Wars and Star Trek ... but they're also nearing another unlikely sweep situation.
Boston have found form at just the right time (which, in turn, makes it harder for a certain blog poster to say it), which could spell trouble for LA. We all remember the last time these two played it out ... right?
LA are looking comfortable, maybe a little too comfortable. They haven't lost in a good while now ... remind you of anyone? Orlando seemed ready to win it all at one point, I wonder if Boston are licking their lips at the prospect of facing a third team with similar hopes and dreams, then dashing them just as quickly. It's possible, folks.
I still think there's a little magic left in the bag, and a win or two away at the Garden isn't impossible. Still, the fact that you can let a team into your own house and lose twice isn't a good sign. I'll pray for a change of luck.
