Nanny Hypocrites

Although bullying is a natural order of life, in today's world our sensitivity leads us to try to eliminate it. Bullying is bad, although most of us were subject to it during our school years. It's known as the pecking order or the totem pole establishment of order. Yes I was bullied in my elementary school days, but many of us had the intelligence to band with others that were bullied. We soon became outcasts or nerds but at least we looked out for each other.
This is not about if bullying is good or evil. It's about hypocrisy and tolerance.
I can't speak for the world, but in the US over the past couple of decades there has been a push to stop bullying among children. Especially in schools, parks and playgrounds. England is known for nannies, tolerance and the village raising children think-tank idea by Hillary Clinton!
A mother is banned from her son's school because she confronted a bully who used her son as a punching bag. Since we have only heard the woman's testimony, lets just assume she is accurate for the sake of argument. So she was civil to her son's bully as she confronted him. God bless her...but I'm skeptical.
I like the headmistress' made for TV name. Pip Utting. Piputting? OK, lets start a contest as to how we can make the name to mean something. Maybe you're 'piputting' if you were bullied as a child but turn a blind-eye when it happens to others!
The order of bullying is to teach your kids to fight and stick up for themselves. The mother learned that being nice and throwing parties to invite the bullies makes you a 'sap'! It also gets your kid bullied more at school where there are audiences that either fear or cheer the bully.
Maybe I should give a few ways to fight bullying. Sometimes you do have to get your butt kicked. Sad but true. Either way children should be taught to fight, even if it means taking karate or boxing classes.
There is strength in numbers, remember that, so find others that are in your league!
It is unfortunate, but there is still a pecking order in society as a whole. Women are more against bullying than men. If men are against it they are either lying or on the lower end of the totem pole.
Do you know that society has certain 'unwritten' rules?
