Mystery Crochet Revealed !
February 25th 2009 15:09
This is a zinnia square I made from a pattern I bought on eBay. This pattern is so beautiful it takes my breath away. The square works up so quickly and it is a large size...it shouldn't take long to complete an afghan. But, I don't know if I'll do an entire afghan...a few of these squares sewn together would make a gorgeous rug!
Anyways, I thought I would work on this for a few days and see what happens. I need to buy more yarn. I am thinking of doing the flowers in just yellow and orange...it would be so bright and cheery!
If you type in Zinnia afghans on eBay you'll currently find many copies of this pattern dirt cheap. However, I am thinking of designing a zinnia square, flower, or potholder of my own (if I'm able). Maybe a smaller square.
I'll post a picture of a yellow square soon so you can see how lovely it looks. The yellow square is nearly finished.
Thanks for stopping in!
