Why oh why must people worry so much about what others are doing?
The pagans lived by the code “Do what ye will an ye harm no-one.” (Do what you like so long as you don’t harm anybody else.) It’s perfect, the only law we need.
But again, people just can’t help but mind somebody else’s business. Whether it be for personal gain and profit, power hunger, or religious fanaticism… people can’t seem to stop themselves.
Censorship is bullshit! Any censorship is wrong and dangerous. Information is vital. Pure, untainted, “uncensored”, both-sides-of-the-argument information, is an absolute must for any intelligent civilization.
I can not believe any intelligent, logical person could not foresee the potential corruption and misinformation resulting from censorship.
People really need to start butting out…
Regardless of anybody’s beliefs as to what the afterlife holds, we each have a “current-life” to worry about too!
Unless you believe in miracle conceptions – and that’s fine if you do, mine is a non-judgemental belief structure - we all came into the world in pretty much the same way with no-one entitled to more or less of this earth than any other.
That’s how nature intended. That’s how my god intended.
We are not perfect, we are unique creatures… with a natural sense of curiosity, and natural responses to stimuli. Right now we are human, and we have been given time on this earth.
The biggest sin I can fathom is the act of one human obstructing the path or destiny – whatever that may be – of another. Sometimes we need to fall in order to learn.
Basically I am really pissed off seeing people (myself included) losing their rights more and more every day.
If I want to look at perverted (and I am not referring to child pornography) material, it is my eyes, it’s my fantasy!
If I fell in love with a woman and wanted to enter a same-sex relationship, it is my relationship, it is my heart!
If I have an abortion, it is my body, it is my child, it is my bloody business!
If I decide to get a sex-change operation, it is my vagina, well, actually, it would be my new penis I guess!
It is my soul! It is my responsibility! I will be the one going to (someone else’s) hell!
So what the F@#K does it have to do with anyone else?
At what point will the camel’s back break I wonder.....
