thinking out loud - August 2008

My Superman

A strange dream last night,
And you were in it.

Some accident,
you flew in and saved me.

Dressed in a superman costume,
painted the perfect hero.

Strong and courageous,
charming.

You tenderly reassuring,
As you lifted me from the wreck,
Guiding me to safety,
I was sure I could go on.

Some subconscious message,
Or because of a future tattoo,
All I know is you were there,
In a strange dream last night.
