My "Real Age"
March 27th 2009 17:24
This morning I did a test online at realage.com that is supposed to tell me what my real age is versus my chronological age. The test is very interesting and intense. I wasn’t even sure how to answer some of the questions- not because I was being dishonest, but because I just didn’t know the answer. I think I super-flunked the test, if that’s possible. I am currently 28.7 years old, but according to this test my real age is 38.3. That means I’m apparently 9.6 years older than I thought I was.
To be honest, I knew the test would tell me that I’m older than I am. I have some big things stacked against me. But I also have some things in my favor, like exercising (although they said I don’t do it enough), taking a daily multivitamin, and drinking soy milk. I usually don’t have red meat more than once a week, but I never eat fish (yuck!). I take fish oil. Shouldn’t that count for something?
I know this is just a computer test, but it was kind of a punch in the gut, because I’ve been doing a lot lately to get healthier. I suppose I still have a long way to go. But I’ll show that test!
