My new companion
Today, I took the courage to spend some money on another luxury.. Yes I know, prices are going high, fuel prices are skyrocketing and won't be stopping anytime soon. I also just resigned and will be out of the company I've been working for, for 5 years by the first week of September...
This however is a sort of "gift" for myself... after 5 straight-n0-break-from-school years of working, I have bought only 2 other things I'd consider a luxury... one is this laptop -- a Toshiba Satellite and the Nintendo Wii.
Yes I'm not too frivolous of a person, even my mobile phone, which is a big deal here in the Philippines is something the company provided, sure I chose them myself but only up to their limit so it's not that oh-so-cool and I didn't buy it with my money
My husband accompanied me today to this place a train away to buy my very first Digital SLR camera
It's a starters/beginner's DSLR, and I'm loving it!
I told myself if I'll be unemployed for a few months starting september, might as well do something productive and creative with it
I can't wait to go outdoors and try it out! so far only me and my son have tried it out. Yes my 4 year old loves taking photos too... he actually got our old cannon digicam for himself today.. (but it's not gonna be his!)
This will keep me occupied for the next months or so and for every other special occasion, especially outdoors!
