My Day Begins With Mocha

I have always needed a little caffeine kick in the morning to get going and developed a fondness for Mocha from the local coffee shop down the street. The economy has forced cutbacks and I switched to having regular coffee at home. I miss my morning Mocha so I’ve been searching for a recipe I can make at home. I finally found one that is pretty close to my coffee shop’s Mocha. I’ll share it for those that wish to try it.
Delicious and Hot: Mocha Coffee
2 tsp. – Instant coffee crystals
2 tbsp. – Unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tbsp. – Sugar
3 cups – Skim milk
One-half tsp. vanilla
In saucepan stir together dry ingredients. Gently add milk until smooth. Stir constantly over medium heat until warm. Remove and stir in vanilla.
