SNITCH or NOT...

July 1st 2008 22:39
T.I. is one of the few kings of the south. Doing songs with the great (U.G.K), Lil Wayne, Jazzy Pha, Mannie Fresh, Jamie Fox and Justin Timberlake, just to name a few. He is one of my favorite artist in the rap game period. But when things like this goes on, it make's me wonder if he should be holding the title of the king of the south. "Things like what", you might ask? (SNITCHING)

T.I. gets caught with a massive amount of machine guns and only faces a year in prison. Doesn't a red flag go in the air? Considering the fact that T.I. is already a 7 or 8 time looser and was currently on probation for other various reasons. With that being said, it brings me to my next topic (50 Cent) and his remarks that he made about T.I being a snitch. By T.I already being a 7 time looser and getting caught with that amount of artillery and only getting a year, just doesn't make since to me.

I'm from the south and with all the beef going on between the east coast and the south, me personally, I just don't wanna give those east coast rappers nothing to talk about, especially 50 Cent. He's a fake artist, he's not real. He did all that talking about what he was going to do to the Game when he saw him, but when 50 walked off the stage at the BET Awards and Game's entourage was standing at the end of the stage, 50 did nothing.

And to all my readers, what do ya'll think?

Uh oh, did you make a boo-boo Shaq? (LINK)

June 25th 2008 18:29
There’s been a lot of uproar these last few days about Shaquille O’neil or Shaq dissing ex-team mate Kobe Bryant, in one of his latest freestyle songs. In LA, they even took away his ‘badge’ people, this is serious business, what is this generation coming to? SYKE!! You know ‘I’m’ just kidding. Bump that foolishness. Shaq is tha man and Kobe is tha man. Shaq’s just trying to make his name and mark on the rap scene.

Some people like Snoop Dogg and Nas has came to his defense. Now, Snoop is a fan of the Lakers, shoot, he lives’ in LA. Shaq made a statement to ESPN on Monday that he and Kobe is cool, but you know how freestyles are. That’s right, when you’re freestyling, no telling what will come out, it’s just whatever come’s to mind. He made a statement in his freestyle regarding Kobe not being able to make it without him. Meaning on the cool, that LA lost the 08 NBA Championship because of the lack of Shaq.

I personally don’t know how true that is. The reason I say this is because, in my opinion, it’s not like Phoenix made it to the Championship either, “Shaq.” Even if he was quote on quote, intentionally trying to dis Kobe in his rhyme, he needs to be dissed too. Phoenix traded for Shaq and it maybe helped them, but the big # out of Boston is just good.

Kobe has tried a little rapping too. He need to not get offended and take Shaq’s rap to heart but fight back like other rappers and diss Shaq in a rhyme on LP. Then they would be even. I think everyone who is a critic is making too much out of this whole incident. Anyway, it’s not like everyone is going to go out and bye Shaq’s CD or anything. I don’t care how much dissing or gossip or media Shaq’s getting from this thing, it won’t make him have any rapping skill (lol). Forgive me, but I know I’m not the only one that was thinking the exact same thing. Some people need to just stick the gifts and talents that God has given them. So Shaq, stick to the b-ball, leave the rapping to the ‘professionals.’

Love ya!!!

And the award goes to...um...

June 25th 2008 17:56
Did you people see the BET Awards last night? Was it hot or what? I know that I definitely seen it and really enjoyed the entire show. All the performers brought the heat on stage. I don’t have a favorite part in particular because I liked everyone’s performance. From Usher to Lil Wayne, man, it was on fire up in there…

I especially liked how the awards gave UGK awards, being that member PIMP C is passed (RIP PIMP!) Trill forever… UGK has been in the game for about 17-18 years now and just recently been acclaimed on the mainstream circuit. They’ve mostly been underground up until the last year of Pimp C’s life. Much respect to their hard work and perseverance in this game of music, it’s a hard one.

Another hot performance was, oh my God, Chris Brown and Ciara’s dance performance. They tore the stage up. Oh yes, and of course, T-Payne or should I say T-Wayne for all of you who saw the awards. T-Payne’s circus performance (the Ring Leader) was definitely hot, so hot, T-Payne had to also perform with Flow Rida, DJ Khalid, Luda, Big Boi(Outkast) and last but not least, he closed out the awards with a dynamite performance with the king himself- Lil-Wayne.

By now, ya’ll probably can sense that I am a all out Lil-Wayne fan. I’m from the south, what can I say. My peep’s also from New Orleans, 5th ward and Magnolia….Represent!! By the way, my girl, Keyshia Cole represented also!

My only beef, if I can say that I got one, is that the best rapper award did not go to Lil-Wayne. I think he definitely earned it. He did sell ‘ONE MILLION’ records his ‘first week.’ That broke all types of music sales records, at least recently anyway. I do feel he should have gotten the award, based on his sales and popularity with the people if nothing else.

I do like Kanye West though. Kanye’s the one who brought home the Best Rapper Award. Since Lil-Wayne didn’t get it, I’m glad Kanye got it. And I did see Kanye bring Lil-Wayne up on stage with him to receive his Best Rapper Award and also gave Lil-Wayne his props for being hot, on fire and selling a mil. Kanye’s a real man…..he often give other’s their props for their accomplishments. That say’s a lot about Kanye and show how confident he is with his talent and music ability. That was real cool!!

Shout’s out to everybody who seen the show and the after show hosted by P.Diddy himself. Holla!!!

50's Baby Mama Drama!!

June 20th 2008 22:30
Oh, my God! For all of you out there that know's PERSONALLY about baby-mama drama, our man 50 Cent is currently getting dufflebag, full dose. He and baby-mama Shaniqua Tompkins is at it again, that is court I mean. This just proves that money and fame doesn't shield a person from problems or DRAMA! Oh well, it seems that now, 50 has filed a 'defamation of character' lawsuit against baby mama, who previously opted that a restraining order be placed against 50. Now, mind you, this order will also keep 50 away from the 11 year old son that they share together. For those of you thats been keeping up with this via the news and web, you know it seemed to have all started earlier this year, when 50 tried to evict his baby mama unless she cough up 4,500 a month for rent. The house previously gotten together is worth over a mil and was just purchased January 07 and he tried to kick her to the curb in April of this year, 08.

Seem's their relationship didn't last for too long, most relationships in Hollywood don't. With the exception of long lasting one's like Mrs. Jada Pinkett and Hubby Will Smith. Great example

Game & Young Buck team up on 50

June 20th 2008 22:14
I know that you've heard about the MOST recent dis attacks coming 50's way. Well, 50 cent has took a lot of beef from every side and angle. First, primarily from The Game, an ex-member of 50's group 'G-Unit'. 'G-unit' is one of the most hottest rap groups this century. Too bad it couldn't last. It's been a lot of back-n-forth for all of the members of G-Unit. First The Game left, then Young Buck and 50 got into it and had beef.

Now, it seem's that both of the ex-G-Unit members has teamed up on a mix tape, dissing 50 pretty bad. If they wanted to make him look bad, they did a great job. The track included lyrics stating that 'Ciarra need to leave 50' and 'I was Lloyd, I would'nt be comfortable around you.' I think ya'll know what THAT'S insinuating. I still cut for 50 though, he broke all kinda records in the early 2000's with the sell of his first CD. Then he brought out Lloyd Banks, whose still part of G-Unit today. I hope this scuffle don't end up with people behind jail-house bars

Wayne's on Fiirre!! (LINK)

June 19th 2008 18:06
Wayne, you know, Lil' Wayne, of the previous Hot Boy's and current CMR- Cash Money Records. Now he's not just rapping bout' being on fire, such as the video, 'fire-man', but he is on fire in the charts, with bling and 'papas.'

I read the other day about him being the first artist to sell a mil in a week's time since, since over 3 years. Now, I do remember when 50 did it wit the song 'Wangsta', (which, I really did'nt like that much." I love Lil Wayne though, his style, his flow, his roots. Ya see I'm a down south girl myself, straight outta D-Town, TX, that is Dallas, TX. Down south, we like a certain 'swang' or 'for sho swagga' in our music
