What’s Yo Pro’lem Mutha Bleeeeep.

No I’m not going to go all homeboy on you’re a**es – goodness I’m not even going to swear, but it’s the first thing I thought of and as far as attention grabbing goes…here’s to hoping it worked (I just raised my cup of tea – and I think I talk homie!).
What I’m really here to talk about is people with problems and how they drag them around and stormy up the place – even on the most delightful of days and especially Mondays. Doesn’t matter who you are or what you think. How you feel magically emanates from you, it just does –and people pick up on it. I know I thought I was some sort of Academy Award winning actress in the office but people can see my mood a mile away – well the people that care do.
So what’s the biggie…I’m kinda tired of all the attitude – I mean there are people out there with real problems and real upsets, issues like divorce and not knowing what’s best for their kids and health issues – things that a coffee and a biscuit don’t always solve – but if you have the right attitude it helps.
I know I am being very general and maybe a tad judgemental of a lot of people that don’t necessarily fall into this category but I made a new friend today and it kind of put a lot in perspective. He’s the cleaner at work – everyone around the office sees him and walks by and well today I got to talking – the guys in his 50s if that, loves yoga, vegetarian. He told me to relax a bit more…I look stressed.
Are you Kidding me!
For starters I didn’t know I was stressed but the strain on my voice and the 7 coffees 2 green teas (to counter balance) will tell you different…as will the recent deflation in my temperament and bags under my eyes…oh blah blah and boo hoo. I can’t believe he noticed and I can’t believe he actually made me feel better.
There’s so much crap that goes on in a day that you or I think is so important and it isn’t…you know deadlines – yeah sure they are but you’ll make them; then there’s what the other peeps around the office think; then there’s what you think they think and so and so from row B who’s in a filthy mood having a rant at everyone.
WHO cares – this guy is walking around cleaning up after us and offering some advice – for nothing. He doesn’t care what I think. But it’s nice that we’re friends. He saw right though me too – I wonder what that says about me. Maybe I’ll figure that out when my head’s clearer. In the meantime I’m just going to make another tea and do a bit of something – maybe work, who can tell.
I feel better though – and I forgot what the mood was about in the first place. Goes to show you what a change of attitude does.
