I was reading one of the weekend papers and there was a story about a mutant fish that has been feeding human corpses thrown into a river after funerals. Locals of the Indian/Nepal border believe that the fish has moved from already dead bodies to human swimmers in the river.

One of the mutant catfish was caught weighing in at 73kg and almost 6 foot long. Imagine one of those getting a hold of you, there would be little chance of escape. Is this natures way of telling us to stop abusing our natural surroundings.

Every now and then, something about giant catfishes find its way out of India. I don't know if it's their resemblance to sharks or what but stories about catfish never cease to excite people.

That's one big catch-fish! And even a mutant O.O That river is pretty scary to have a swim in then. They should post a sign saying: "Be careful of man-eating catfish!"
