Let me share my own personal techniques for avoiding hitting deer whilst driving in areas that are heavily populated by deer:
1) Slow down.
2) Watch the road. Deer eyes reflect headlights, even when they are hidden in the trees. They also travel in groups-if you see one, there are bound to be more behind.
3) Stop driving drunk.
If we all strive to practice these simple steps, we can greatly reduce the amount of helpless, vulnerable cars that are destroyed every year by the bloodthirsty, menacing deer population.
