Must Do's In New York (Part 1) (LINK)

My stay in New York was by far the most exciting experience i have had in a very long time. There is so much to see, and talk about, wow, New York City is a must do at least once in your life time.
So today i want to talk about the small things that left huge heartprints for me. Okay first of all lets talk about the driving in New York. Absolutely insane. The bus and taxi drivers are so fast, weaving in and out of traffic like madmen. Definately an exprience. Although they are all crazy drivers they all seem to know what they are doing. So dont be afraid, just enjoy the ride.
Weather, if you are travelling in spring, dont expect it to be warm yet because it wont be. I walked off the plane direct from Cancun to New York and expected the weather to be warm. It was freezing, on par with London weather. You need thermal gloves, long pants, leggings, scarf, and really warm jacket, boots and bed socks. I have never been so cold in my life. The wind was unbelievable too, the type that cuts right through you. Please learn from my mistake. I have no idea how those Sex and the City girls prance around in summer dresses in the middle of winter. They truely are talented. Freezing...
Times Square is definately an exprience. So many bright lights, noise and the amount of car horns that go off in that place. Unbelievable. Every two seconds someone beeps their horn. You learn to drown the sound out after about 2 days.
Shopping in Times Square is fantastic. There are superstores everywhere. Huge Hersheys chocolate shop with a humungous bar of chocolate, A 3 story M&M (chocolate) shop, with giant sized statue of liberty M&M's. The disney store located somewhere between 5th and 6th Avenue along Central Park, is also huge. You can find anything you ever imagined in New York.
The friends (TV show) fountain. Okay so its not called that its actually called the Pulitzer Fountain. Although not a must see it was memorable for me because i was standing at such a well know filming location in New York. This fountain, located at the entrance of Central Park on 5th Avenue is also directly next to the famous Plaza Hotel. This hotel is in alot of movies like Eloise at the Plaza, Sex and the City, Almost Famous, Crocodile Dundee, Home Alone II- lost in NY and many many more.
I will break this topic into a few different parts because there is just too much to write in one day. Stay tuned for more.
Cheerio
