Music Teachers Online Website
Provides basic listings free of charge, and priority listings from $80. This inclusive website is designed to help the searcher locate a number of teachers in a certain locale, and proceed to read through their details.
It allows the listing of multiple disciplines and gives an idea of which skill level is appropriate for that teacher.
It has a suburb search, and teachers can include more that one studio locations (which is handy, as many teachers teach in more than one studio!).
Its layout is not the most innovative, but it is organised and tries to allow room for as much information as the listing teacher desires to include.
Our panel gave this site ratings of:
E - 4 / 10 ... Tricky tabs to use and those annoying google ads!!
J - 5 / 10 ... Lots of teachers listed. Information spread over too many pages
A - 5 / 10 ... Obviously the owner of the site is trying to make money from google ads by including so many pages within each listing. But the information makes up for that.
P - 3 / 10 ... Ugly. I don't think it will promote me as a teacher as it looks un-professional.
