Mary Had a Little Mouse

Mary had a little mouse.
It's eyes were red as berries
and everytime it glared at her
it gave her quite the scaries.

It's teeth were razor sharp.
It's fur was ghostly white.
For a teeny, tiny mouse
It caused a giant fright

'til one day Mary shivered
and said, "No more can I take!"
and grabbed it by it's tail
and fed it to her snake!

A Mouse in My Doughnut

There's a mouse in my doughnut!
How can this be?
I'd closed the box
so carefully.

But, early this morning,
when I grabbed for a glazed
there was a mouse
looking unfazed,

licking the sugar
off of his lips.
Oh, do you children
have any tips

on how to deal
with naughty mice
that think stealing doughnuts
is something nice?

Should I set a trap
or call pest control
to take care of Mouse
in my doughnut hole?

Or, maybe it's best
I just learn to share.
After all, Mouse did leave my
chocolate eclair

completely intact-
and my lemon creme, too.
Guess I'll put on a fresh pot of coffee-
for two!
