Does your baby or toddler get tired of being in the stroller and want to be carried often? Mine does...except she's 25 lbs and it's not so easy to carry her around everywhere! Since she was born, I've tried at least 5 different kinds of carriers.... I tried the Chicco You and Me, the Baby Bjorn, the Baby Bjorn Air, the Baby Bjorn Active, the Infantino sling... Are your child's toys and gear safe or should you return them immediately? This is something that seems to change on a daily basis. It seems as if every day, toys, bottles, high chairs, cribs and virtually every other type of product is being added to the national recall list. When products are added to this list, parents are instructed to immediately discontinue use of the item and return it (or a portion of it) the manufacturer for a refund or replacement.
How do parents know if a product they're using or are planning to buy is under a recall? Go to the Parents Magazine recall webpage where you can find a complete list of products in their Toy and Product Recall Finder. They have recalled products listed by Product Name, Brand, Model Number, Category and Time Period of recall. Since, often times, many parents don't even know their gear is recalled, the website makes it easy for you to continually update yourself on recalls by offering a "Latest..." recalls section. On Tuesday April 13, 2010, UCLA officials announced their arrest of a 63-year-old man from Bakersfield, California. The arrest comes after numerous sexual attacks were reported by women on and around the UCLA campus in the past month. UCLA police said they believe they have caught the man that is responsible for more than seven attacks on women in the area in recent weeks.
Campus police stated that Calixto Marcellana Nitro was arrested just after 6:00 p.m. Monday evening as a result of a sting operation along Westwood Boulevard.Nitro was allegedly caught trying to grope a woman's groin area and immediately arrested
