MLB Awards: First-Day-of-Summer Edition

AL MVP: Joe Mauer -- While Mauer does not have enough at bats to qualify for the League Leaders, his line of .417/.485/.744 leads the league by a sizable margin and does a decent impression of a Barry Bonds' line. He already has a career high in home runs with 14, and, oh yeah, he is doing all of this while playing (great defense) at the weakest offensive position in the bigs.
NL MVP: Albert Pujols -- Like Mauer, Pujols is on a career-setting HR pace and boasts a jaw-dropping line of .319/.442/.690. Pujols leads the league in HRs, OBP, and SLG, while contributing above-average defense at 1B.
AL Cy Young: Zach Greinke -- One of the greatest stories in the game and a highly-touted prospect a few years back, Greinke has a major-league leading 1.96 ERA and is striking out more than a man per inning. He has also had great endurance, throwing 5 complete games with 2 of them being shutouts.
NL Cy Young: Danny Haren -- Haren boasts both the NL-best 2.32 ERA and NL-best 7.38:1 K:BB ratio. Arizona has unfortunately squandered some of his great starts, which explains his ho-hum 6-4 record.
AL Rookie of the Year: Andrew Bailey -- 4-1 2.23 ERA 8 SV 44.3 IP 50 K
NL Rookie of the Year: Colby Rasmus -- .279/.327/.471 7 HR 28 RBI 30 R
AL Reliever of the Year: David Aardsma -- 14 SV 1.62 ERA 33.3 IP 41 K
NL Reliever of the Year: Jonathan Broxton -- 6-0 16 SV 1.85 ERA 34 IP 54 K
