Its a week now when HongKong Bank or HSBC India hired goons threatened to kill and abduct the kid of a loyal customer was brought into the notice of the Bank Authorities.But typical to the Bankers they are not ready to mend their ways by identifying the said culprit and trying to discipline him in accordance with the law of the land.Perhaps they don’t act until the threat is actually translated into some ghastly act.

HSBC officials initially denied that they had any collection centre at Noida,UP,where the known thugs and goons or anybody who wants to earn bucks muscling the hapless customers are contracted or Employed.This outright denial can be proved from the telephone numbers location and the duration of the calls.The details can be obtained from the MTNL ,if the court ask them to prodide them.


The fault of the customer was that she had been asking the bank authorities to send the bill regularly which she never received.According to her she had closed a HSBC card more than two years back because there used to be computing errors and she had to visit the Bank in order to get the extra money charged reversed.This must be in the Banks record which can be ascertained.

As she recollects she squared off the other cards balance too and seldom used the said card as it had very low credit limit and uncomfortable experience with the bank.

The HSBC officials would call often to avail the pre approved Personal Loan on her credit card. After avoiding a year an executive persuaded her to accept one this time and she indeed availed the Loan of Two Laks Fifty Five Thousand and an EMI of 7090 per month was fixed.

The customer has held the card for more than Ten Years and she has payed back most of the EMI of the Personal Loan.However she have been troubled by the constant telecalling and Telegrams.She have been forced all these months to pay whatever sums asked to.


One she was not getting the bills scond ,she was being fined for something or other made her life miserable.Six months back she was convinced some executive about her plight and the Bank sent her six months statement.But again the same pattern.All these meanwhile she kept paying whatever asked to and that must be many times that she is supposed to owe the bank.The credit limit is 18 thousand on her card and she must have been forced to pay around 50 thousand until now.

Banks must have some methodology to identify the hapless and weak customer whom it could keep bullying on its own terms.

HSBC ignored all her request to at least send the bill regularly even though she seldom used that card but she paid regularly out of fear.

The height of barbarisims was witnessed when she told one telecaller to send the bill first,she provided her email id to the bank yet again when the bank was in possession of that one from the beginning and she had been receiving the promotional newsletters sent out by the bank to their clients.

The bill never came and instead came the unprintable abuse of the HSBC goons who had all the details with him and he identified himself as a HSBC employee,calling From

Atta Market,HSBC collection office Noida,UP.

The said HSBC goon had heated discussion with the husband of the customer,Ashok K.Jha,who is the editor of a Weekly News Magagines and writes for various International News Portals.

The humiliation was too much and he approached the bank whis tried to brush aside his concern by waiving some fine imposed by them.They are however not yet send her the bills from the date it discontinued that is 29 months ago.Bank also refused to act against the goon that threatened,maintaining that it was diffcult to identify that person.

It is obvious that Bank is not willing to review its “threat and intimidation “policy as yet or until some person is killed or murdered actually.

Is there any place for this barbaric and human rights violative methods in the present day scenario.

This is not a standalone incident.Many would be facing the same threat and humiliation.

Its high time to let Bank Authorities Know that like them thei customers are also human and they have no right to kill,injure or abduct them.There needs to be awareness about these facts.

Lets make it a mission to send and forward this message to all concerned civil right activists throught the world.The global heads of thes Banks must be told that how uncivil of their profit centre head stationed in India is to encourage this practice to keep bottomline/topline healthy and attract plaudits for that.
