Miracle of the Week - The story of hope
March 29th 2011 23:14
Back in October of 2007 I was in Cairns playing in the Cairns Classic Golf Tournament. Following the event I stayed in Cairns for a well over due holiday.
I was out on the town one night in a place called Shenanigan’s, when I turned to see a bright light shining down on a girl sitting on a stool. This girl was the most beautiful person I had ever seen.
Me, being very shy would never get up and introduce myself, but something just picked me up off the chair I was sitting on and whisked me straight over to the girl on the stool. I introduced myself to her and told her some mumbo jumbo about her being the most beautiful girl on the planet with a smile that could light up the world.
I spent the next 5 days getting to know this girl and falling in love with her more and more each day. I couldn’t believe how quickly the 5 days went.
It is now March 2011 and I am still in contact with the girl. My feelings that I had for her in those sensational 5 days have not passed. I recently told her how I feel. To my surprise she has asked me to come back to Cairns for a visit just to hang out and see if her feelings are mutual.
I know the Miracle will be the day that I get to see her walking down the aisle towards me at our wedding. Until then, each day that gets closer to seeing her again is my miracle.
