Qantas stewardess Lisa Robertson, who was suspended after allegedly having sex with actor Ralph Fiennes in an aircraft toilet cubicle during a long haul flight, was reportedly convicted of a drunken assault on another woman 12 years ago.
The Daily Telegraph reports that Robertson, who once worked as an undercover police officer, attacked a female staff member at Canterbury Leagues Club in November 1995 after a drunken fight with her former husband.
The scuffle left Robertson sentenced to a three-year good behaviour bond and forced to undergo alcohol and anger rehab.
New information uncovered yesterday showed Robertson was also suffering from depression in 2003 when she filed this statement at a civil court case.
"Mostly I lived alone with my parrot Pedro and dog Ralph. I am very lonely but at the same time I want to be alone," she said.
"The only place that I feel safe is at home so I spend most of my time at home. I am afraid of social interaction. I don't trust people, I'm afraid they will hurt me or judge me."
She also expressed anger at the NSW police hierarchy, which she blamed for ending her career as an undercover drug operative.
"I am really sad about how my life and career has turned out. I had a good career, I was a detective, a trainee negotiator, undercover operative and weapons trainer among other things," Robertson said.
The revelations come as British newspapers report that Robertson's alleged mid-flight flame Fiennes has been dumped by his Irish girlfriend Sirin Lewenden.
A source told The Daily Mail that the pair split "because of Ralph's wandering eye and his constant demands for what might best be described as unconventional sex."
Fellow Qantas crew members on a January 30 flight from Darwin to Mumbai allegedly spotted Robertson, 38, and Fiennes leaving the same aircraft toilet cubicle moments apart.
A spokesman for Qantas confirmed that a flight attendant had been stood down following the onboard incident.
Celebrity agent Harry M. Miller is reported to negotiating a deal with Robertson, who he claims could have a story worth as much as $400,000.
