Quality Not Quantity (Liverpool v Chelsea CL semifinal 2nd leg pre-match)

The 12th Man

So here it is, the most anticipated night of the season for all Liverpudlians, the second leg UEFA Champions League semifinal against Chelsea at Anfield. We are one goal down as a result from the first leg at Stamford Bridge, and Liverpool must score at least one goal and keep a clean sheet to keep the tie alive into extra time, two to win the tie. But the safe number is still 3 goals, 3 will certainly be safe enough to see us through. So the question is, can we score?

The final score is 2-1 for Portsmouth. The scoreline isn't so shocking though, when Liverpool's teamsheet is revealed.

Young Reds Edge Devils

The boys scoring the crucial goal

Just a day after the senior team's 1-0 defeat at the Champions League semifinal, the youth team of Liverpool bring back the smiles for another FA Youth Cup triumph! And more importantly, it's done by beating the Mancs!

The Youth Cup final consists of two legs, home and away. The first leg was at Anfield, and we were behind 1-2. And last night the youngsters came back and score a goal that is more than enough to drag the match into extra time. And we end up victorious from penalty shootouts. And so Liverpool youth team defended their title as the youth champions

On the Blues Again

Phew, it has been a very long time i wrote something about my beloved Liverpool. Well i guess i came back at the right time!

It's the repeat of 2005's Champions League semifinal, where the Reds are going face to face against the Blues. And somehow, AC Milan also managed to see themselves through to the semifinals despite starting the season with lots of problems. The only difference between this year's and 2005's is that the other semifinalist is Man Utd

Yes, it's final. The takeover has taken place and now Hicks/Gillett are Liverpool FC's new owners!

This saga has finally ended, and how Rafa must be pleased with this after calling for an end on this few days ago. And many fans are somehow pleased as well, and DIC has somehow became a history that people quickly forget

Merseyside Derby (Liverpool v Everton pre-match)

It's time for the merseyside derby again. And, as always, it carries big importance to both teams.

The first derby encounter saw Everton won 3-0 at Goodison. By then Liverpool were yet to find form and made a lot of mistakes. Everton did very well in taking those chances and punished Liverpool heavily. Must be a huge celebration for Blues fans. And they should be, because this time around it's not going to be the same again
