tabasco story

June 2nd 2008 10:33
A short story to keep you occupied during this obviously boring point in your life:

Twas a friday evening and time for the good ol' dishes run so being the team players we are me n kenj shut ourselves in the fridge and diligently went about pretending to clean it.

On this fateful night a small bottle caught our attention labelled "tabasco sauce", now kenj being the bright spark of the cooking world that he is took on my dare to drink a good old swig of the stuff. So i did the sensible and appropriate thing and kept a watch for whoever was our chef while he tried to empty the bottle, wasnt working so i turned around and gave the bottom of the bottle a gentle love tap as they say. Now this would have been ok had:

a) the bottle not been pointing at kenj's mouth
b) his mouth not been open
c) he been ready for it
d) the lining of his throat been a few layers thicker

so I silently stood guard over the fridge door while kenj spent the next few minutes attempting to breathe and not empty his bowels over the fridge floor. The facial expressions of someone in such a position are indeed priceless but unfortunately I dont carry a camera with me into the tafe fridge, so i have found a photo that resembles one of the faces pretty well.

that is our story

stay tuned for another update as they come to hand

ciao for now

A Classic Example

CLASSIC EXAMPLE

Here we have a classic example of the difference in skill levels shown by the two members of the "Chef's Gone Wild" crew. Please keep in mind that both of these cakes used the same ingredients, the same recipe and took the same amount of time to make.

Quotes from the crew

Good evening to everyone fortunate enough to be viewing this website, here are just a few of the quotes that have changed the course of life for students and teachers alike who have the honour, or more appropriately the priviledge to be studying with the famous "Chef's Gone Wild" crew.

- You and me Mike, we shall be more travelled than an African Emu
