As you may very well know by now ,as of this week( June19,2007) Stargate will almost come to an end. I say Almost 'coz eventually, there will be two near feature length movies to come afterwards. Its almost sad that it had to end this way. I know that it has been an incredible run "a record" ten years. The story lines have been foe the most part been freash with rehashing oldnes as far as stories go. thre story arc's have been excellant, most notable was the search for ancient tech stuff and finally ending up with Merlin. I mourn the loss of the Go' auld as they were a formidable adversary. They could have extended that story plot, but hey why As you may very well know by now ,as of this week( June19,2007) Stargate will almost come to an end. This coming friday will be a block buster of a time to watch the ending. As the teaser said they will go out with a bang. I hope that it will not be a final death to the team ,for I would like them to be together again.

I will report back with a review of the final episode or nearly final

After watching last nights final episode of StarGate, I was almost pleased with the way it all ended. For the most part There was the drama and the waiting for what happens next. I barely got by the middle part where the "Time Dilation field" was holding sway.I hate these time "stops".It felt like a very long intermission. I also hate when the characters are portraying their actors feelings in a way. They seemed to portray the partying feeling at the end of a long career, short for a few and long for the already seasoned professional. In one scene, I thought That Michael Shanks gave a most impressive delivery of his career. He almost was explosive in his feelings as Daniel towards Vala(Claudia Black). That scene made me perk up get me more involved with his character thqan ever. It was heartwarming.
It was morobund for most of the episode. But, as was promised, they did nearly go out with a advertised "Bang".
As a closing commentary to the beloved Richard Dean Anderson, they ended with his pride and joyous "list" of Cliches which were more than appropriate for a glorious ending.
In closing, the end is not what it is or was appearing to be. Of course they had to leave open somewhat of a hole to fill for the forthcoming feature "tv/cable" films to come.I will let you the reader make up your own mind as to the possible outcomes of the next installments to the this most wonderous show that has lasted for more than ten years.
