Men and their egos...

I hear some loud crashing noises outside my house. I peek through the pee hole in the gate and see what I have seen in many a country I have visited. Whether it be France, Germany, England, Australia or Egypt there are still male fights over territorial things.
The other men come running from nowhere and pull one man of another and the crowd along with the perpetrator begin to disperse. Although here the men are wearing galaybayas and head scarves, some from the traditional Bedouin tribes they are apart of and some with western styled clothes. Not far from the fight you would see in a pub over a guy talking to some guys girlfriend.
Yet here I sense some peace and stillness amongst this fight, as it doesn't get out of control as there is no alcohol or drugs to fuel the temper. A typical Egyptian word ''malesh' (never mind) can depict what happened after as everyone moved on and began to collect their shopping again, or walk to their homes or talk on their telephones.
The fight is over before it even began.
