The Real Weddings blog recently featured some gorgeous bags from the upcoming Spencer and Rutherford collection, "Into the Wilderness", and I just had to share them with you.
The Harlow bag in nettle above is one of my faves, as is the Kylie bag in Heavenly below:
The range also includes some beautifully bright florals, and a gorgeous luggage collection, but since my computer is playing up and won't let me upload any more images, you'll have to head to the Real Weddings blog, or the Spencer and Rutherford site to have a good sticky beak.

Guests were being seated for the show, which was due to start at 10am. At 10.45 (the show was running fashionably late) a sudden power outage meant the show could not begin, but organiser Simon Lock asked patrons to "sit tight".
Designer Nicky Zimmerman didn't seem fazed.
"I'm just glad it didn't happen during the show,'' she said. "It's fine, we're just going to re-steam (the clothes).''
According to the Sydney Morning Herald, patrons headed to the bar to wait, but were asked to leave their gift bags behind so the room would "look nice" when they returned.

With the weather becoming chillier by the day, it's the perfect time add colourful accessories to your outfit to warm you up and brighten your day.

Was down at cheap clothing Mecca - also known as Savers in Brunswick - on the weekend, and turned up a few more fabulous bargains: a strapless, apricot-coloured Kookai dress for $10, a fitted black Portmans dress for $15, and - the buy of the day - a brand-spanking-new Polo Ralph Lauren fitted white shirt.... for $10. If I could put the caps lock on numbers, I would. [ Click here to read more ]
It's been a while between posts, but we're back with a big one! Head for Threads was invited to LMFF last night to watch the Paris Runway Four show, sponsored by InStyle.
Nevenka – plenty of purples, polka dots, and flowing prints, combined with the blackest, chunkiest heaviest shoes (RMK) you have ever seen. One particularly skeletal model looked to be struggling to pick up her feet. My advice: eat, and grow some muscle. Semi- shuffling with a massive forward pelvis-tilt is not so attractive. The economic outlook may be bleak, but the fashion outlook is not, if Marc Jacobs' autumn/winter 2009 collection is anything to go by. Bright colours and boxy shapes were the order of the day, as 60 models strolled down the catwalk during the 10 minute show. It'll be interesting to see if the lurid poncho-capes work their way into the high street shops in time for our winter (heaven forbid)....
