Theres a model of a brain in the Queensland Museum in Brisbane, Australia, that lights up the areas of the brain that is associated with our known senses.



When all the buttons that light up the areas were pressed, there was still approximately 60% left of the brain that was unlit.



And we only use 15% of our brain power capacity

Who's Normal?

For a while now, I've being pondering about who and what could be accurately classified as 'normal'. Personally I don't believe that such a term even exists, everyone is weird in some way or another.

But i've realy been thinking about it, if a 'normal' person were to exist, what would they be like?

I came up with a number of solutions,









Actually I only came up with one, they'd just be plain and insanely boring.

Pink's new release of Dear Mr. President left me angered and annoyed. I see her point, yes he may be not the best president in the world by starting two wars (Afghanistan and Iraq), signing the No Child Left Behind Act, then pretty much leaving it to rot, and then his fantastic idea to not sign the Kyoto Protocol. But, I also believe that Pink should not have gone into that much depth.

Pink has the right as an American citizen to express her opinion onto the current President, she did this by producing a song, but not releasing it, and as a direct letter to George W. Bush. But it felt like she was implying that the only person who could do anything about it was the President. Which of course is completely wrong

Seriously, I very much doubt that Dali, Picasso, Kandinsky, Ernstand and other artists within the cubism, surrealism, impressionism, expressionism, areas were not on some sort of hallucinogenic or psychedelic drugs. How else would you see and apply such images

Severe Dose of Writers Block

After four days of owning an orble blog, I was diagnosed with Writers Block (scientific name Wtiticous Blockocous). I found no help, there was no medication, no help groups where i could anonymously meet people to talk and share our problems, nothing. And until now, suffered for a period of 9 days

Apparently ragdoll cats are the dumbest cats you can find, they seem to have no predatory and defence skills what so ever. And if it wasn't for all that white fluff and their big blue eyes, they probably wouldn't have survived for very long.

I believe otherwise

Personailsing Local Graffiti

Recently a fair bit of graffiti has appeared in my local area. The most noticeable are the tag names 'Poe' and 'Tieth' (god only knows how you pronounce it). So during these uni holidays, I have made it my mission to personalise them when they pop up again.

HAHA, yeah some well known experiences there. When I went to see final Lord of the Rings, we were right up the front and in the corner beside the fire exit (not much of a hint there is it). So I left after three hours with a sore neck and frozen from the draft. Thank god the movie was good.

I'l agree with the majority, except with spiderman. I hated the first one with a passion, just felt too fake. Loved the second one, but I agree with the NOOOOO scene, just a little too daft.
