Matrix Strategies - An Introduction
September 25th 2008 09:34
In the movie Matrix, we saw them moving around the city and conducting their mission. As much as possible they should keep a low profile and be extremely cautious.
Why do they have to go through so much trouble?
Agents would be able to detect them easily through their uncommon movements within the Matrix.
Once they are detected, what's their main line of defense?
They usually have an escape route, go to the nearest phone booth and make a quick call home.
Neo (Keanu Reeves) was able to notice something strange while they were headed back to their escape route. He noticed that the cat passing by the other room suddenly repeated itself. In other words, this is what we call a Glitch in the Matrix. And if this ever happens, it means a lot of trouble for the whole team. It means only one thing, and that is, they have to move faster to escape and also be prepared and ready for a fight for their lives.
Or else, get deleted from the system, which also means that they die in real life.
This scenario shows us that getting plugged-in into the Matrix isn't an easy task. But anyways, they were already there, to start with. And they were able to wake up from a long sleep into reality.
Breaking down the complex code of the Matrix into simplicity is quite a great task that needs to be done. Thus, requires the help of every team in accomplishing the common goal.
And that's the reason why everyone plays an important role. Lives of people are at stake and the chances for failure is really futile to the mission. One person down is like tens or hundreds of lives were lost.
Let's face the fact that, the Agents who were hunting them down are like an Anti-Virus program ready to seek and destroy moving elements like our team, of whom would be considered as virus to the system.
So what exactly is their main goal? In my opinion, it is freedom from the machines, especially the so-called 'Source' or the system that started this all.
In order to achieve that, a well worked-out plan is necessary. It's also a fact that plans don't usually reach 100% especially when dealing with an adversary. We don't know what their next move would be. Casualties are to be expected, but minimizing it or if possible, having none at all would be the best.
I would be continuing the next parts of this topic in a future post. For now, these ideas would be like an opener to the vast Strategies covered within the Matrix.
